About the experience

A conversation with your own reasons.

Moral Atlas is an original, exploratory philosophy experience. It looks for patterns across hard choices without pretending that a person can be reduced to a point, a school or a score.

What it does

Your choices are scored through visible, deterministic weights. The result describes three broad coordinates, secondary tendencies, influential answers and context-dependent shifts.

What it does not do

It is not a validated psychological instrument, a diagnosis, or a judgement of moral worth. Its uncertainty is an evidence heuristic—not a scientific confidence interval.

Your privacy

The quiz runs in your browser. Answers and progress remain in this device’s local storage and are not sent to an external service. Restarting clears the Moral Atlas session.

The reference points

Thinker and tradition positions are interpretive approximations supported by reputable philosophy sources. Nearness means partial alignment on this map, not identity or endorsement.

A map is useful because it leaves things out. Moral Atlas makes those omissions visible.
